Odum Conference 2009 Travel Information
The Rensselaerville Institute Meeting Center, 63 Huyck Road, Rensselaerville, New York 12147, is approximately 25 miles southwest of Albany, and is about a 45 minute drive from Albany International Airport. There is a Greyhound and Trailways bus terminal in downtown Albany. Additionally, Amtrak has rail service to Hudson, Albany/Rensselaer (NOT Rensselaerville), and Schenectady - all about 45 minutes by car from the Rensselaerville Institute.
Registered conference attendees staying at any accommodations in Rensselaerville can be picked up at the airport, bus or train stations by the Rensselaerville Institute
Meeting Center’s van service and dropped off in the village of Rensselaerville or at the Rensselaerville Institute
Meeting Center. This service costs a maximum of $60/person one way, but the price is reduced based on the number of people sharing the van, and is likely to be significantly cheaper.
