Conferences and Workshops
The NYISRI collaborates with scientists, extension
specialists, resource management professionals, and other partners in NY’s
invasive species initiative to produce conferences and workshops that
address key issues in invasive species ecology and management.
Upcoming Events:
Great Lakes Research Consortium Annual Conference,
March 19-20, 2010; SUNY ESF, Syracuse, NY. The Great Lakes Research Consortium's
annual conference emphasizes student research while providing opportunities for
students, faculty and others to meet and share insights and information about
Great Lakes-related research, academic programs, science and policy, and the
Consortium's many programs. The Conference will include student presentations,
research planning meetings, a faculty panel on the Great Lakes and Environmental
Economics, a luncheon with awards for best student presentations, and a banquet.
